Road trip

After church one Sunday we took a road trip to Shoshone Falls. On the way we stopped at Malad Gorge. It is literally a bridge built over a gorge. You walk out on it and look down...uuhhh...my stomach hurts just thinking about it. The gorge is amazing, beautiful and made me thankful for solid ground. The bridge itself has a lot of give to it, so if for instance your husband and daughter were to jump up and down, the bridge would wobble horribly.

Chris and Gracie thought it was fun to make the bridge shake. This gave me flashbacks of being a little girl on the swinging bridge by Montezuma Creek. I guess I have always been a little on the unadventurous side, because I ended up siting in the car while everyone else in my family walked across the rickety, rope and plank bridge. I remember very clearly thinking I would fall through the planks...but, I digress.

Sam, Gracie and I ended up walking down to the falls because the traffic was so heavy. It seems everyone had the same idea. We brought a picnic and ate at the park. The falls are beautiful and more powerful than the pictures portray. It was a perfect day

Is this water over the bridge?
