Bare feet

Chris has a picture of his Tennessee hillbilly relatives. They are standing in front of their wooden shack with a blanket hung from the doorway. They are all dressed in their finest church clothing; Which consists of too short pants and no shoes on the two, little twin boys.

What does this have to do with us? My son Samuel goes to church in his too short, brown corduroy pants and immediately takes his shoes and socks off. He runs around for the duration with bare feet and the ends of his little legs showing. Every time I see him, I am reminded of the picture of Grandma Greats mother and brothers. I guess Samuel is letting his inner hillbilly shine through!

Brushing teeth

Samuel HATES to have his teeth brushed. He screams and cries and I just do the best I can. However, he loves to suck on Gracie's toothbrush.

I found Gracie in the bathroom crying while she brushed her teeth. When I asked what was wrong she told me she had seen Sam sucking on her toothbrush and now it tasted like Samuel's breath.
